This week my guest on The JazzBites Show is a British singer/songwriter and composer who hit the ground running as an Jazz & Blues performer with working musicians on London's live music circuit when she was just 14 years old. A college graduate with a degree in music and media, and suitably-equipped with a distinctive and original voice together with her considerable ability as a pianist, she went on to play with many bands before developing her solo career. Popular on London's buzzing Jazz scene, she is an experienced session recording artist working alongside and collaborating with renowned artists in the business, a regular at some of London's top Jazz venues, a sought-after singing teacher, and voice coach. Today she talks to JazzBites about her eventful career, the excitement surrounding the release of her eagerly-awaited new album, and why the great Dianne Reeves knew she had what it takes to win the SARAH VAUGHN International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2016.
