THE LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE
My guest on the show this week is a vibrant and accomplished performer with an acute sense of showmanship reminiscent of 1950s Hollywood that's increasingly rare on today's Jazz scene. A glamorous singing sensation who's been described as 'The Queen of Swing' - she's received rave reviews and performed on stage around the world from The Royal Albert Hall in London to The Metropolitan in New York, venues in Milan, Rome & Genoa, audiences in Bangladesh and Edinburgh, and everywhere in between. As the resident Jazz songstress at the world famous RONNIE SCOTT'S JAZZ CLUB in London since 2008, she wows audiences with her distinctive voice and showcases performers in her own 40s & 50s themed show there <Live & Let Jive> every month. Today she speaks to Jazzbites across the Atlantic from her home in London.
LUCKIEST GIRL ALBUM released October 2015 available on iTunes and via kaihoffman.co.uk
